Robert Soli Munakash is a native Angeleno whose roots in the gas station and real estate business run deep. He didn't stumble into entrepreneurship — he was raised inside it, watching his father serve the community one customer at a time, learning that a business is only as strong as the relationships it keeps.
A 1990 graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Robert brought both academic discipline and street-level instinct to his career. In 1995, he made his defining move: acquiring his first gas station and committing fully to the entrepreneurial path.
Today, Robert operates three 76® stations across Southern California — Pacific West General 76 on Pacific Coast Highway, Village General Store on Sunset Boulevard, and The Refinery General Store in Wilmington. Each location reflects the same philosophy he inherited and refined over thirty years: know your community, serve it well, and show up every single day.
As an active member of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce, Robert extends that commitment beyond his own stations — investing his time, presence, and advocacy into the health of the broader local economy.
